How audits and reports work in detail
How the weekly audit runs
SEOWing registers its own weekly interval in WP-Cron and schedules the first run one hour after activation, so you do not need to set up a server cron job. Each run evaluates every published page of all public post types in all languages, plus the site settings, and stores the result as the latest audit: score, passed checks, warnings, critical issues and the affected pages. The scheduled run only works with a Starter licence or higher. Without one, the event stays scheduled and resumes as soon as a licence is active.
What is stored and where you see it
The newest result replaces the previous one. You see it on the Audit page with every issue sorted by severity, and the score appears on the SEOWing dashboard. Per-page scores are updated whenever they change. On the Pro plan, the AI Assistant in the admin reads the stored audit and turns its open checks into suggested tasks. SEOWing does not keep a timeline of past audits. To track progress over months, keep each report and compare the new audit with the previous one.
Reports through your AI agent
Over MCP your agent calls seo_full_site_audit and receives scores from 0 to 100 per category, a summary, per-page results, prioritized recommendations naming the tool that fixes each one, and prompts for missing company data. Categories include site identity, legal pages for DACH sites, technical SEO, schema, E-E-A-T, local SEO, images, social and GEO/AEO readiness. From this the agent writes a report in the format you ask for. For a weekly or monthly comparison, give it the previous report, because SEOWing itself stores only the latest audit.

Once a week. SEOWing schedules the audit through WP-Cron with its own weekly interval, with the first run one hour after activation. The scheduled audit needs a Starter licence or higher. You can also start a full audit by hand at any time on the Audit page in the admin, which is free.
Can I create a monthly SEO report for a client with SEOWing?+
Yes, through your AI agent. Ask Claude or another MCP client to run seo_full_site_audit and write the report in your format. The audit delivers scores per category, issue counts, per-page results and prioritized recommendations. For a month-over-month comparison, give the agent last month's report, because SEOWing stores only the latest audit.
Does SEOWing keep a history of SEO scores?+
No. Each audit, manual or scheduled, replaces the stored result, so the dashboard always shows the current score, and per-page scores are also updated in place. To show progress over time, keep your weekly or monthly reports and let your agent compare the current audit with the previous one.
Does SEOWing send an email when my SEO score drops?+
No. The weekly audit updates the score on the dashboard and the Audit page but does not send emails or alerts. To catch a drop, check the dashboard after the weekly run, or let your AI agent run seo_full_site_audit and compare the score with your last report.
